베트남에서의 생활은 생각보다 고요하고 정적이다. 언뜻 생각하면 더운 나라 특유의 활기참과 정열적인 삶의 연속일 것 같지만, 실상은 밖에 나갈 일이 별로 없다. 낮은 너무 뜨겁고 차 없는 뚜벅이로서 혼자 용감하게 쏘다닐 일은 제로에 가깝다.
늘 생각한다.
'지루하다... 심심하다..... 한국 언제 돌아가려나?.......'
하지만 한껏 차려입고 콧바람이라도 쐬러 간다면 이건 또 얘기가 달라지지.
내가 어디에 있든, 원하는 곳 어디든, 실어다 주는 그랩 아저씨의 서비스도 새삼 감동이고, 이국적인 풍경과 호사스러운 대접도 감동이고, 맛있는 브런치는 더더 더더욱 감동이다.
다시 한번.... 깨닫는다...

즐기면 된다. 맛있게, 행복하게, 여유 있게.........
오늘은 뭐처럼 뜨거운 한낮에 코 바람 쐬러 나가 보았다.
Life in Vietnam is more tranquil and quiet than I thought. At first glance, one might expect a continuous life of vivacity and passion typical of a hot country, but in reality, there's little reason to go outside. The daytime is too hot, and as a pedestrian without a car, bravely wandering alone is almost non-existent.
I always think,
'It's boring... I'm bored..... When will I return to Korea?.......'
However, if I get dressed up and go out for some fresh air, the story changes.
No matter where I am, whether it's any place I want to go, the service of the Grab driver who takes me there is suddenly touching, the exotic scenery and luxurious treatment are moving, and the delicious brunch is even more so.
Once again.... I realize...
'I really did well coming to Vietnam! Haha'
Just enjoy it. Deliciously, happily, leisurely.........
Today, I went out in the scorching midday heat to get some fresh air.
' T.A KITCHEN&BAR '라는 브런치 카페. 호치민에서 브런치 모임을 가장 많이 하는 동네 이기도 한, '타오디엔' 이라는동네 안쪽에위치하고 있다.
'T.A KITCHEN&BAR' is a brunch café located in the heart of 'Thao Dien', a neighborhood in Ho Chi Minh City that is particularly popular for brunch gatherings.
*음식점들이 모여 있는 타오디엔 스퀘어(ThaoDien Square) 안쪽에 있다. 구글 지도만 보고 찾다 보면 조금 헛갈릴 수 있다.
꼭!! 스퀘어 안으로 들어가야 한다는 걸 명심 하시길... (타오디엔에는 이렇게 구성된 스퀘어가 꽤 있다.)
It's located inside Thao Dien Square, where many restaurants are clustered together. It can be a bit confusing to find it just by looking at Google Maps.
Please remember!! You must go inside the square... (There are quite a few such squares in Thao Dien).

내부는 2층으로 구성되어 있다. 작지만 깔끔하고 모던한 느낌. 생각 보다 테이블 세팅이 알차다. 4~5 팀은 앉을 수 있을 거 같은데....
The interior is composed of two floors. It's small but neat and modern. The table setting is more substantial than expected. It seems like it could accommodate about 4 to 5 groups...
흐미;; 또 군침 나온다.... 아이스 크림 와플 맛있었는데..... 달지 않고 적당히 촉촉하다.
Oh my; I'm drooling again.... The ice cream waffle was delicious... It was not too sweet and adequately moist.
난 왜 이렇게 사진을 못 찍는지;;.... 저 닭 가슴살 크루아상 샌드위치 진짜 맛있었다. 그런데 사진으로 담아 내질 못 하겠네.. ㅜㅜ. 저 옆에 메뉴는 'recommend'라고 '엄치 척' 그려져 있길래 한벽 시켜 봤는데.. 하;; 솔직히 맛은 So-So. ㅜㅜ. 파스타 먹고 싶어 시켜봤다가.. 기호에 따라 그냥 일반 파스타가 나을 수도 있겠다.
전체적으로 음식들이 맛있었다. 평타 이상은 됨. 근데 솔직히 아메리카노가 너무 싱겁더라. 물을 얼마나 탄 거야?.하지만 우린 음식 먹고 싶어 갔던 거니까^^
분위기도 좋고 서비스도 좋고 가격도 착하고. 3개 정도 시키고 커피에 50만 동 조금 넘게 나왔는데 이 정도면 괜찮은 거 아냐..?ㅎㅎ
Why am I so bad at taking photos;;.... That chicken breast croissant sandwich was really delicious. But I just can't capture it well in photos.. ㅜㅜ. I ordered the dish next to it because it had 'recommend' with a 'thumbs up' drawn next to it... Ah;; Honestly, the taste was so-so. ㅜㅜ. I wanted to try the pasta, but depending on personal taste, a regular pasta might be better.
Overall, the food was tasty. More than just average. But honestly, the Americano was too bland. How much water did they add? But we went there wanting to eat, so^^
The atmosphere was good, service was good, and the prices were reasonable. We ordered about three items and coffee, and it came to just over 500,000 dong, isn't that alright..? Haha
